We are delighted to present this ICON Treatment smile makeover case carried out by Dr Shan Lam.

Adam was referred to Dr Shan Lam for a consultation regarding the white spot lesion on his upper left front tooth.

As a professional model and performer, Adam had become increasingly self-conscious of this unsightly mark. He tended to hide his teeth whenever he smiled and he suspected that the white blemish lost him some modelling contracts as well.

ICON treatment

With the ICON method, the white spot lesion is treated using a resin liquid thereby reducing its appearance, with the aim of making it disappear altogether. This procedure is non-invasive, completely painless and not even a local anaesthetic is needed. In most cases, no drilling is involved and no healthy tooth tissue is removed.
